Community Based Care, LLC (CBC), an organization dedicated to serving people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD), is pleased to announce that New Beginnings of North Carolina (NBNC) has joined the CBC family of providers. CBC Executive Vice President Gene Rodgers said, “NBNC is a statewide provider and fits successfully with each of our current family members. Mary Rogers is a passionate owner and a parent of a consumer and knew CBC would continue to put the consumers above all else”. NBNC has served individuals with I/DD needs since 2007. NBNC CEO, Mary Rogers, added, “CBC and their family of providers were ideal to merge with, because they are considered a premier I/DD agency for participants, their families and employees. Consumers and their families’ voices will be respected, as they remain a top priority to the agencies, who serve them. Additionally, employees will have career opportunities, while experiencing professional growth”.
Since NBNC serves individuals all across North Carolina, the CBC family of providers will be uniquely positioned to support them thanks to the large footprint these providers already have. Hughes Behavioral and Mental Health Services, HomeCare Management Corporation and Lindley Habilitation Services will all provide support moving forward. Lindley CEO Wendy Steele said, “ We are excited to partner with NBNC to continue our mission of Providing Exceptional Services to Exceptional People as we continue to grown in the Cary, NC area”. Likewise, Margaret Mason, CEO of Hughes and HomeCare, said, “Mary Rogers’ passion and commitment are contagious and we are honored to partner with her”.
